2019 Upcoming Events

September 14 & 15--West Newton Community Festival --A fun weekend gathering featuring a parade, bands, food, games, vendors, and crafter's booths! 

September 26-- Twenty-Sixth Annual Labor Day Poker Run for individuals and families (Trail Head) Rain or Shine.

8:00 AM - Packet Pick-Up & Race Day Registration
8:30 AM - Event Start

This event is sponsored and supported by various area merchants. This event is NOT A RACE! Participants walk or bike ride at their own pace, to checkpoints throughout the course where they pick up a playing card. At the end of the event, each poker hand is tallied and the person with the best hand in each category receives a prize. Raffle prizes will be available after 10:00 AM. At 11:00 AM the winners of the best hands in all events will be announced along with the winner of the bike and the 50/50 drawing.

Bike - 20 miles endurance
Walk/Jog/Wheelchair optional - 4 miles
